From March 6 to March 8, 2026, the city of Westerlo (Kingdom of Belgium) hosted an international hand-to-hand combat tournament organized under the auspices of IFAR.
Athletes from nine European countries participated in the competition: the Czech Republic, Belgium, Ukraine, Denmark, the Netherlands, Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.The tournament brought together strong national team representatives and became an important event for the development and promotion of hand-to-hand combat in Europe.
During the three days of competition, athletes demonstrated a high level of preparation, technical skill, and true sporting spirit. The matches were intense and competitive, providing spectators with many exciting bouts.
According to the results of the tournament, the team standings were as follows:
🥇 1st place — Belgium National Team
🥈 2nd place — Ukraine National Team
🥉 3rd place — Germany National Team
